Los Angeles Indigenous Peoples’ Alliance (LAIPA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit grassroots organization with the mission to work for human rights, culture, and the continual development of  indigenous peoples living in the Los Angeles.   Since 1997, LAIPA has facilitated the health education and leadership development of hundreds of Indigenous and Latino families in Northeast and Southeast Los Angeles.  We have accomplished our goals by providing ongoing culturally based grassroots health education, workshops, support meeting, forums, conferences, and educational events to further assist families from Mexico and Central America living in Los Angeles.
